Yet it still cannot recognize a working iPod Classic. Using one of the links, it told me that the PC is completely up to date. I tried again, uninstalling each driver in turn and then restarting. I had tried updating the drivers through Device Manager, as in Method 2. ![]() No change in the failure to recognize the iPod. It then applied a fix and I restarted the machine. The Troubleshooter said it found an issue but didn’t identify the issue.
